Peter Santos, better known by his stage name Olde Spanish (which is derived from Olde English Malt Liquor), is a producer, rapper, and audio engineer born in Manta, Ecuador and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Spanish moved to Baton Rouge in 2014 to pursue his music career and study music at LSU. Dropping out after one semester, Spanish set out to focus on his music and his future in the music industry. Performing at open mics and small local events, he eventually formed hip hop group Cult 45. Wanting to be heavily involved in the music scene, Spanish also started recording other artists while studying audio engineering at the community college after a year of not being in school.

Tired of doing open mics and finally building a catalog of good music, Spanish and Cult 45 hosted a series of underground live events as headliners with other local artists opening. This eventually led to the birth of #45minifest, a Music & Arts Festival hosted by Olde Spanish that features live art, music, and food. Cult 45 released their debut album CULT. in July of 2018, executively produced by Olde Spanish, followed by Olde Spanish' debut album "Olde Spinach" in October.

Around this time Spanish begun Cult 45 Entertainment, LLC (which hosts the festivals and his recording studio, Studio 45) in hopes of legitimizing his ventures.

The second festival thrown in December 2018 featured Olde Spanish and Cult 45 Performing with a live band, which helped propel Olde Spanish to getting booked for bigger local shows. 2019 has been met with a few singles being released featuring Cult 45 member Cobain, as well as multiple shows and Spanish' first time performing at The Varsity Theatre, a premiere Baton Rouge venue.

Olde Spanish recently partnered with longtime friend Dillon Lowe to form Mixed Mantra Media, a multi platform media company with focus on artist interviews, live performances a la Tiny Desk Concerts, and culturally relevant content.

His music can be described as lo-fi boom bap, detailing personal experiences concerning love, loss, and life.
